Wind beneath our Wings

Good Question about wings....

How many of us feel like we could stretch out into the next breeze and find ourselves airborne?

How many of you get back pain right between your shoulderblades...or have a permanent itch.... at your wing connections?

I remember planning a ritual with friends. It was a dragon ritual and a very large earth dragon was in attendance at our planning. At some time during this I started using my friend's refridgerator to scratch my back.... you got it right between my shoulders. Someone's wings were itching and he was sharing (not on purpose) the annoyance.

In a journey once I jumped from the top of a cliff. During my decent I transformed into dragon and it was the most wonderful feeling. Unfortunately, I remembered I was human when I was trying to land and could not remember how to use my tail as a rudder to land... very ungraceful.

Please share your sensations of wings and flight... Let the others know I am not totally crazy... only half way there ;p~~

I get back pain there. It seems to get more frequent each day. Also, when I am sitting in a chair a sometimes arch my back forward and stretch my arms, i feel invisible wings stretching with my arms.

I always feel wings and scales and when using meditation to "look" at myself I can feel my physical human body and my non-physical dragon body.

I sometimes get pains between my shoulder blades but I found the part of a pilates warm-up where you stand and stretch your arms up one at a time while keeping your shoulders level and pushing down with the same leg as the arm you are stretching gets rid of it.

Once while meditating (the normal focusing on breath kind) I got distracted by the mental sensation of wind passing my face. As I concentrated on it I began to imagine I was a dragon having fun flying. I soon woke up out of it.

    A Dragon's Flight

    My wings now free.
I spread them wide to go places that I never known before.
    No chains to bind me.
    No collar to control me.

My wings gather air as I hover into the sky.
The ground is getting smaller and smaller.
I head to the open sky diving into clouds of the unknown embracing it fully.
Feeling the freedom I deserved for so long.

A dragon tear sheds my eye.
I say to myself that dreams can be reality.
That a life I deserve can be mine.
With my wings I can sail any sky I want.

While in flight there is no time.
I can discover me and what I need in my life.
I will be who I am without insults from others.
Long as I can fly, I will live and love as a dragon heart should be doing.
