Good Question about wings....

How many of us feel like we could stretch out into the next breeze and find ourselves airborne?

How many of you get back pain right between your shoulderblades...or have a permanent itch.... at your wing connections?

I remember planning a ritual with friends. It was a dragon ritual and a very large earth dragon was in attendance at our planning. At some time during this I started using my friend's refridgerator to scratch my back.... you got it right between my shoulders. Someone's wings were itching and he was sharing (not on purpose) the annoyance.

In a journey once I jumped from the top of a cliff. During my decent I transformed into dragon and it was the most wonderful feeling. Unfortunately, I remembered I was human when I was trying to land and could not remember how to use my tail as a rudder to land... very ungraceful.

Please share your sensations of wings and flight... Let the others know I am not totally crazy... only half way there ;p~~

looking for a collectors tribe??

Does anyone here know if there is a tribe on here where people sell and trade items that have to do with dragons? I've been a long time collector and have several figures and books i'd like to sell due to financial problems and having to move and where i live now doesn't allow us to have yard sales. I'm offering several items at very reasonable prices.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

earth---best in comprimises
water---less dramatic/fierce than other dragon types
fire----most dramatic
wood---similer to earth
metal---similar to fire

Interpretation of a dragon dream

Hi guys! I had a strange dream last night. It had this eerie lucid dream feeling to it and that's why I want to find out all possible meanings for it. In the dream I was literally transformed into a bright yellow dragon. Rather small and nice looking, and it was definitely Eastern type of dragon with long and slender body. I'm not even sure if I saw wings at all. But the colour was very bright, almost citron like yellow. I've been searching for several websites for information on yellow dragons but I can't find much consistent descriptions. Like, what do they symbolize and what kind of role they have in the mythology. I'd be very happy to hear your opinions!

hi my name is ZAYNON, im a orange dragon and have recently found a way to communcate with my life long friend tawnymara, she was tuff to get through to in this lifetime, but i am old and wise and came to a way of being able to connect with her, i have been through several lifetimes with her and have been and will always be her guardian and protector, she never expects anything from me but i am always there and always watching, my mistress is important to me and i live within her soul, she will protect me with the fire of her soul as i will her, we have battled many, but we also love with a deep passion for life, past battles are best remembered for future reference and to draw energy from, when my mistress is angered i will show myself in her through the colour of her eyes whitch go black and narrow at the sides, her eyes are blue in colour durning normal living, just thought i would introduce both of us as a whole....

Hello there! The name's SPark, the purple dragon. (Yes, the capital P is deliberate.)

This community looked intersting, and at the moment I'm feeling my draconic nature a bit more, so I thought I'd give this a try here.

I'm a rather peculiar person, and I don't regard myself as Otherkin, Reborn, or any sort of true dragon. Rather, my draconity is a way to express myself. I am a dragon because I have dragon-like traits, and having a dragon self is a way to let those aspects of myself fly free. It's hard to explain properly. I regard myself as human, but there are parts of me that relate strongly to draconic archtypes. Of course there are also bits that relate to cats, wolves, evles, and a lot of other things. But the dragon is very much in the ascendant at the moment.

Anyhow, leaving that confusing exposition behind, hi! On a more mundane note, I love reading, drawing (dragons, of course, and other fantasy stuff, as well as the occasional real life bit.) I also sculpt a bit, and make costumes, and recently finished a rather spiffy dragon suit, which is one of the nicest things I've done yet, I think. And I collect Windstone dragon figurines, and have recently started to custom-paint them as well. (It's an expensive hobby, sadly, but fun.) Windstones are something of an obsession with me. Is there anybody else here who owns any?

Dragon pictures...

I was wondering if anyone would have a good picture of a Viper Dragon? Yea, i did the test, and truthfully would love to have a full color of one to place on my profile. A sleek, dark green dragon of swamps and bogs.... Any help would be apprieciated, since that quiz REALLY told a lot about me, truthfully too!

i'm a bit confused by this clan; i was under the impression, based on the description of the tribe, that it was about dragons. so far, i've seen only things about goblins & elves. so may i ask...where are the dragons?
& the poison-spewing, insults, & degradation is rather silly, don't you think? i guess if that's what is fun, then go to it. but perhaps there is another tribe in existence, for just that purpose? there must be more exciting verbal reparte' present there. & besides, the vast majority of dragons prefer to settle our disputes by physical battles. talk is just that...talk. perhaps the skies are more intersting elsewhere...

Dragons and Unicorns

When I was little, all I wanted was unicorns (with the exception of My Little Pony :: shudder ::). Horses and unicorns were the first thing I learned to draw well as a child. But at the same time, I was also drawing lots of dragons (who tend to look a bit horsey), though not collecting anything dragon related.

Now that I'm older, I really don't care much about unicorns. I like them well enough, still draw them, still have lots of figurines, but when I see one, I don't have to have it.

If dragon figurines were not so expensive, I'd probably have a good collection of them going. heh

And, oddly enough, there seems to be a bridge between the two in in the oriental dragon, the Ki'rin (or Ki'lin).

What I am curious about is, did anyone else go through this unicorn transition? Or have you all just been dragon-folk your whole lives?

Dragon Ink

My first tattoo was a blind dragon's head, and it remains my favourite. I've posted a picture of it in the album.

My young daughter collects model and sculpted dragons - her room is labelled "Dragons' Lair" - and draws them beautifully.

Guess as a family we qualify for membership? :)

I just joined - awesome idea for a tribe! I just got a dragon tattoo on my back about 6 weeks ago. It's something I've been conceptualizing for some time, although the design isn't completely original. I just saw the picture and knew it was what I was seeing in my mind's eye. I had my artist tweak the design a bit and add the yin-yang, and there you go! :) The pic of it is in my profile listing on the last page of photos. I think it's perfect on my back where he can watch out for me. ;)

I used to have dreams about being a dragon. I would be crouching on top of a craggy mountain with mountain ranges all around me (rocky and barren, no trees), and then I'd take off by just leaping and spreading my wings. For some reason tho I would just skim along the crags of the mountains - I never flew high and out in the open. I'm not sure why that is...

Its loosely based on a pendant that my grandmother gave me a number of years ago. I have others that I hope to upload soon...
